Standard NCD practice in the Irish market means that an insured driver must earn a separate no-claims bonus for each car they are insured on.
At DUAL, we do things differently. We rate based on your clients’ driving experience, and not on the NCD earned.
If your client and all named drivers have a clean driving history, we can offer them a full no-claims discount a reduction of 60%, on every vehicle they have insured.
Specialists in electric vehicles
We have specialised in electric cars insurance policies for many years. Our policies cover the vehicle, all the associated equipment and the third party liabilities that go with it.
We also insure to agreed value, and provide like-for-like courtesy cars.
On top of that, we offer full Irish and European breakdown cover, so in the event the battery going flat or running out of range, a mechanic will be on hand to deliver a fast recharge.
Classic car expertise
DUAL motor polices have very few restrictions around classic cars. The vehicle needs to be at least 20 years old, running at a low annual mileage and therefore, not the insured’s primary vehicle.
As with all our motor insurance, our classic car policies operate on an agreed value basis – this is always an important point for collectors.
We can offer competitive insurance on classic cars, provided that we are also the chosen provider for clients everyday vehicle (with a value of €30,000 and upwards for the first vehicle when insuring multiple cars).
